Truly passionate about computers and front end web development. I have an education background of IT, Computer Science in which I have learnt various aspects of computing knowledge and programming languages.
Highly motivated and excited to continue my journey as a front end developer. I am flexible and quick to pick up new skills. I have recently worked at a digital agency and I am currently looking for a junior front-end developer role.
I approach new challenges with enthusiasm and I am always willing to improve my personal and professional skills. I am very enthusiastic about the web and keen to be part of a creative development team.
A short-term role working on a WordPress website for a well established photographer/creative director. I was responsible for: customising WordPress theme, setting up the domain with a hosting provider, installing WordPress, making changes to the style, text colours, using custom fonts, changes to navigation, adding custom CSS to make various changes, using various WP plugins and instructing the creative director for populating the website through CMS.
At Dauntless digital agency, I worked on front-end side of a website for one of their big clients project and adding data on Craft CMS. I also did a landing page for Slovakia Amazon Jobs as they do a lot of work for Amazon. Some of the things I learnt and improved include using SASS/SCSS, jQuery plugins, responsive development techniques, creating site pages from PSDs, testing pages for usability and fixing bugs, tools such as Sublime Text, CodeKit, SourceTree, FileZilla, Virtual Machine etc.
To continue expanding my computer knowledge and skills, I did BSc Computer Science at university. During my time at university, I gained technical knowledge and learning experience of various programming languages, web technologies and project development. I also developed various skills such as planning, research, implementation, analysis, working on my own and with different students on small tasks to bigger projects.
With a strong desire to learn about computers, computer related technologies and an intention to pursue a career in IT, I did BTEC IT Level 3 (software development) course after my GCSEs. During this time at college, I gained fundamental knowledge about computer systems, principles of software design and development, database, spreadsheet, website production, games development, event driven programming etc.
